Daniel obtained his PhD in 2021 for his work with Prof. David Écija’s group, in IMDEA Nanoscience. He was awarded with a “Cum Laude”. Afer his PhD, Daniel joined Prof. Agustín Schiffrin’s group, where worked on studying 2D metal-organic networks involving highly correlated electrons. Daniel’s area of expertises are, STM/STS, synchrotron radiation, XAS, XMCD, 2D-materials and condensed matter physics.
