Members & Affiliates Only Event
FLEET’s annual workshop is our one opportunity each year for all Centre researchers to gather together and share research outcomes and progress. This year, #FLEET2022 will be held at the Aspire Event Centre, the Central building 230 Wollongong Innovation Campus, NSW. We look forward to seeing everyone IN PERSON this July. The research program will also be live-streamed via zoom teleconferences. Please consider this zoom etiquette if you are joining virtually.
Program outline:
12:00 PM Monday 4 Jul – noon Thursday 7 Jul: FLEET conference program – will be live-streamed
1:45 – 5:30 PM Thursday 7 Jul: veski kickstart workshop
9:00 AM – 12:30 PM Friday 8 Jul: ECR and student workshop
Meals
This year, the workshop venue and accommodation are NOT CO-LOCATED. FLEET will be providing all meals. Breakfasts are included in the room cost for members staying at Novotel. Tea breaks, lunches and dinners are served at the workshop venue. The entire menu for the week will be halal. All items will be appropriately labelled for delegates with dietary needs.
In-person attendance/covid plan
Members’ safety is our top priority. Please check our guidelines, designed to reduce covid/influenza infection risks. Please wear a mask in group situations, such as while listening to talks in the large conference room (we have spares) and consider doing a pre-conference (or daily) RAT for the safety/reassurance of your colleagues (we have supplies), and practice the ‘fist bump’ rather than shake hands. (See more in the covid-safety page).
