Idea Factory 2022

Join us at the 2022 Idea Factory, significantly expanded this year to develop a wider understanding of the translation/commercialisation ecosystem and develop ECR skills in a fun and collaborative workshop, focussed on translating your research and ideas into impact.

Gain the skills and tools to:

• Identify and validate the potential impact of your idea through the lens of end-users, beneficiaries, and stakeholders in industry, government and the community
• Identify opportunities, market, customers, barriers and risks
• Develop and refine your impact story
• Articulate and iterate the problem your research or idea solves, and the value of your idea in solving that problem.
• Understanding revenue streams, funding options, attracting first investments.

The Idea Factory will be a natural step on the way to leveraging FLEET’s new Translation Program, which is already funding projects out of Monash and Swinburne/RMIT, with other applications in the pipeline.

Keen to attend? Deadline for EOIs is 7 October at 5pm (Brisbane time). Decisions by 11 October at which point you will need to commit to attending. FLEET Operations will arrange travel and the Centre will cover the cost of your travel, accommodation and meals.
