Registration and abstract submission for the 1st Australian workshop on Quantum Light Information Matter and Electronics, QLIME opens in May 2024.

Fees & Inclusions
To assist in your planning and registration, please note the registration fees are detailed below. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST.
Please ensure you have read and fully understand the cancellation policy on registration as displayed on the Conference website.
All delegates are required to register. Fees are waived for invited speakers, please select the appropriate registration type [Invited Speaker – Complimentary] when you register.
Early Bird rate, before 25 October 2024
- Delegate: $330
- Student: $110
Standard rate, after 25 October 2024
- Delegate: $440
- Student: $165
Registration Entitlements
Full registration includes:
- Entry to all Conference sessions
- Lunches, morning and afternoon teas daily
- Name badge
- Entry to Poster Session
- Entry to Conference dinner on 10 December 2024
Additional Conference Dinner Ticket
- For accompanying guest not attending the conference: $120
Payment Methods
All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST. Payment must accompany your registration. Conference registration cannot be confirmed until payment is received.
The following methods of payment are available when you register:
- A) Credit Card Payment
VISA, MasterCard; Google Pay and AliPay are available for your Conference registration. Please note the payment will appear on your credit card statement as Monash University.
- B) By invoice
At checkout, please provide the billing details under the selected payment method, and the nominated contact billing email will receive a tax invoice to pay later.
C) Monash University Staff cost centre and fund
Please include Description “Delegate Full Name QLIME2024” in your payment. Note this option is only available if you sign in with your Monash staff ID when prompted.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Conference Secretariat.
Registration Fees Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to the Conference Secretariat. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted.
The following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification:
- On or before 25 October 2024: 100% refund
- On or before 7 November 2024: 50% refund
- After 7 November 2024: No refund available
The refund will be returned using the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
No refund will be made after 7 November 2024. However, an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing, and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. Please note that no refund or discount will be made if a function or event included in the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.
Additional tickets for the dinner event may be cancelled before or on 7 November 2024 and will be refunded in full via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After 7 November 2024, no refunds will be made. However, an alternative guest name may be provided via email, and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
Tax
All Conference Registration Fees and Additional Ticket rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide such insurance coverage, and the Organising Committee accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
Privacy and Disclaimer
In the process of registering online for the QLIME, the Conference Organising Committee will collect personal information from delegates, which may include name, contact details, address, payment details, telephone numbers, special needs, etc. This information is only collected to assist in undertaking the services and functions associated with the planning and delivery of the QLIME Conference. In keeping with the provision of the National Privacy Act, we are committed to the secure protection of the privacy of this personal information received during the ordinary course of business.
Delegates will be asked permission to share specific personal information with fellow delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors.By submitting registration, delegates acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the QLIME, their image or voice may be recorded by an officer or official of the QLIME or approved contractor, which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the QLIME Conference Organising Committee. If a delegate does not wish to be recorded, they must formally advise the Conference Secretariat.
