We are seeking a research fellow to work with FLEET Associate Investigator Dr. Bent Weber. The fellow will be based at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, investigating novel topological states of matter, and their harnessing for future low-power electronics and quantum information processing applications. We are looking for:
- A PhD degree in Physics is strongly preferred. PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering or Electrical Engineering may be considered
- Expertise in ultrahigh-vacuum (UHV) scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), or molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)
- Demonstrated strong experimental skill, research achievements and the ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
