PI Prof Allan MacDonald worked within FLEET to understand theoretically excitonic superfluids in atomically-thin materials, which he first proposed, as well as developing ideas for new device structures and explore their potential performance. Prof MacDonald worked with FLEET theory CIs Culcer, Sushkov and Parish and experimental CIs Fuhrer, Wang, Hamilton, Kalantar-Zadeh within the Centre’s Research Theme 1 and Theme 2 on artificial graphene, Dirac semimetals, and excitonic superfluidity.
