Dr David Colas is now a researcher at the Laboratoire de Mécanique et d’Acoustique (Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics) in France. A skilled theoretical physicist, David worked with FLEET at the University of Queensland as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Matt Davis. David studies exciton-polariton and atomic Bose-Einstein condensates. His interests spread across condensation mechanisms in driven-dissipative systems, dispersion/reservoir engineering and non-linear soliton/vortex dynamics.
