Fei Hou completed his PhD at UNSW, working with FLEET CI Prof Jan Seidel. Within FLEET’s Research theme 1. Fei studied the nanoscale properties of functional oxide materials, including complex oxide heterostructures and the domain walls of transition metal compounds. At FLEET his research focussed on high-resolution scanning probe microscopy techniques such as scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) and spectroscopy (STS).
