Stefan Todd is a computational physicist modelling microsystems for use in material science. As a FLEET Honours student working with Centre CI Prof Elena Ostrovskaya (ANU), Stefan sought to use these models to assist in FLEET’s goal of realising exciton superfluids in atomically-thin materials, under the Centre’s Research theme 2. Computational models of strong coupling regimes in microcavities provided further information on exciton-polariton behaviours in 2D lattices.
