Yousra Nahas

Scientific Associate Investigator, University of Arkansas

Yousra Nahas is a theoretical condensed matter physicist who has worked extensively on the modelling of the properties of various ferroic systems, using first-principles techniques as well as differential geometry and topological analysis. A particular emphasis of her research is on the emergence of exotic phenomena within confining systems geometries (discovery of the electrical skyrmion in ferroelectric nanocomposites, BKT phase transition in ferroelectric ultra-thin films, inverse transition in two-dimensional multiferroics.
