Work with FLEET collaborator at the University of Arkansas
Opportunity exists for a researcher with experience in multiferroics, ferroelectrics, and/or magnetic systems. The postdoctoral researcher will be working with FLEET Scientific Associate Investigator Professor Laurent Bellaiche at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct research on the modelling, understanding and designing of multiferroics, ferroelectrics, and/or magnetic systems, with particular emphases on:
- dynamical, structural and out-of-equilibrium effects
- light-matter interactions
- neurotrophic computing
- Kitaev-type systems
- topological defects
- Publish research outcomes in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, contribute to high-profile conferences and workshops
- Work collaboratively with experimental research groups and other theoretical research groups
What we are looking for:

- PhD in Physics, Materials Science or related field and experience in numerical simulations and Solid State Physics is required
- Experience in first-principles, Monte-Carlo and/or Molecular Dynamics techniques, is highly desirable
