Yonatan Ashlea Alava, Research Fellow, UNSW

Yonatan is a Diversity in FLEET Fellow, working with CI Alex Hamilton‘s group. He specialises in fabrication of artificial graphene in GaAs 2D quantum systems using nano patterning, and creation of a topological insulator based on this artificial graphene system with strong spin-orbit coupling.

The research is part of FLEET’s Research Theme 1, Topological Materials.
