Dr Changxi Zheng is currently an a Faculty member at Westlake University.
He received his PhD in condensed-matter physics from Monash University in 2013, working on the development of a worldwide unique III-V low energy electron microscope (LEEM). After his PhD, he commenced research on 2D materials.
Following the successful award of a DECRA fellowship, in 2014, he has been working on high resolution nanocharacterization techniques and began exploring the application of LEEM on characterizing van der Waals layered materials.
At FLEET, Changxi grew TMD crystals to make TMD/h-BN heterostructures in Theme 2.
