CI Prof Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh is currently an ARC Laureate Fellow, he has significantly influenced many fields of engineering including two-dimensional transition metal compounds, liquid metals, microfluidics, sensors, electronic devices and medical systems. He develops novel two-dimensional semiconducting materials, through theory, synthesis, and characterisation.
His team also develops the fabrication techniques necessary for advanced devices, using electron and ion beam lithography and other tools for FLEET’s Enabling Technology Theme B. His research also spans Research themes 1 and 3.
