Dr Shao-Yu Chen is an Assistant Research Fellow at the Center for Condensed Matter Sciences, National Taiwan University. He has profound research experience in transport measurements and optical spectroscopy on 2D materials, including graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides. His particular expertise lies in studying the physics of excitons and their many-body interactions in hybrid 2D quantum materials. With a passion for advancing the boundaries of knowledge, Shao-Yu is committed to developing cutting-edge research that applies excitons in next-generation energy applications.
Shao-Yu’s expertise is aligned with FLEET’s Research Theme 2: exciton superfluids and Enabling technologies A (atomically-thin materials) and B (nano-device fabrication)
