A Virtual Workshop

FLEET2020 will be 100% online, using a combination of zoom video conferencing and the new virtual iSee VC platform.  iSee is part of the rapid evolution of video communication that steps beyond static ‘Zoom’ screens, combining the personal connections of live video with the functionality of 3D virtual worlds (gamers will love it). The platform allows participants to move around and have natural conversations with others, more similarly to a real-world experience.

  • zoom video conference 9:00AM – 2:00PM daily and 5:00-6:00PM on 10 Dec 2020. Zoom ID will be provided to registrant via email.
  • iSee virtual platform 2:00PM – 5:00PM daily. It is also always accessible outside of the main program.

Click here for a short clip of a previous workshop in iSee! A How-To document containing step-by-step instructions to install and navigate iSee will also be provided upon registration. Once installed, launch iSeeHub and use your provided credentials to access the platform. Please email contact@fleet.org.au if you have not received your iSee log-in details.

Install iSee on your computer

Please allow 10-15 minutes to first download iSee to your computer and familiarise yourselves with movement controls and iSee world navigation. To make your audio setup simpler, make sure your headset (if you have one) is plugged in and set as your default audio device before progressing.

You will need to install iSee2020 onto your Mac or PC:

If you have administrator access on your machine, install the iSee2020 client from iseevc.com.au/getting-started

** Especially for Mac users, please ensure that you download the iSee2020 version and NOT the 1.18 version **

If you don’t have administrator access, use the prototype portable version:

Once you have iSee2020 installed, launch the iSeeHub

Registration

Please register by 30 November 2020 so that we can create your user access to iSee.
